From a young age John was influenced by music. His grandfather was a professional piano tuner for Steinway Pianos, his mother played acoustic guitar, and his uncle played saxophone.He was also heavily influenced by the music his family listened to over the years which included everything from big band swing music all the way up to the 70s Hard Rock Era, and everything in between. In grammar school John had an interest in learning to play the drums being that he played in the school band at a young age. From that point his love of music has snowballed. John has been involved in many bands and projects over the years which include winning Billboard Magazine’s “Best Home Recording Of The Year”. John has been in bands which include pop rock, hard rock, and heavy metal which is his love. His current project is his new heavy metal band. John has worked hard over many years. In 2006 John finally got his wish and became an endorsed artist with RCI Starlight Drums, and from that point on there was no looking back. He decided his love for music was very deep that he wanted to help other musicians achieve their goals. John started his own recording studio called “6 Foot Under Studios” so he can share his love for music, and experiences to help make every musician's dreams come true.
